Each day -- I personally speak with 30 to 40
fitness
professionals -- Quite frankly, many of you really have it
"going on!" So, I thought I'd share
some examples of career minded
Next Generation Trainers
and their websites. - Art
 There's
a saying: "If you love your
work, you never work a day in your
life!"
Dale Benedict, owner of
The Training Studio
in Louisville, KY
exemplifies this lifestyle!
First off, he's got the
credentials and can certainly "walk
the walk." He's a
"brand" evangelist who has
developed
multiple profit centers.
And, most importantly, you can see
his business is much more than
simply selling sessions. It's
almost a social network.
Check out the branding.
Look at all the branded apparel in
his group photos! Great stuff for
press releases, web site,
brochures and
advertisements. He also
brands our
protein powder.
Catt
(Palyo) Tripoli is a nationally recognized IFBB bodybuilder (IFBB
Ms.
Universe;
IFBB Ms. International), but she continues to pursue her fitness
passion by owning and operating the very successful
5th Street Fitness
in Santa Rosa, California.
And talk about promotion, how about having
3-time Mr.
Olympia, Frank Zane providing a seminar at your club!
We're proud to private-label the workout
Journals for 5th Street Fitness.
Ron
Adams has got things moving at
Strategy 3 Nutrition.
How do I know? Because he consistently purchases a
large quantity of supplements each and every month. Most
importantly, he's made his site very easy to navigate. Check out
his photography on his store. See... you can do it! It's
also incredibly easy to purchase from his site. A very
professional and smooth operation. This is what's known as a
positive web experience!
Beyond
being an elite, world-class athlete,
Sonja Friend-Uhl
is a world class marketer, motivator and business professional.
Just take a look around
her site and notice all of the offerings. From
special programs to
her own line of
branded supplements,
Fit Studio has
something for everyone. No wonder she's so successful!
COGI
Athletic is the successful vision and business of
Danny Copeland,
former strong saftey for the
Superbowl XXVI Champions, Washington Redskins.
His company works with
kids and teens
as well as adults and
runs camps.
His site is really "clean" and easy to navigate.
Who we are,
what we do...
pretty much sums it up. You'll note the part about MOTIVATION!
That's huge! Danny also has done a fantastic job displaying and
explaining his own
brand of
supplements. We're proud to be part of it.
Matt
Hickey owns and operates a studio business called
CORE Fitness Studio.
Check out the TV segment imbedded right on his home page.
Slick!
This is one of the most "clean" and easy-to-navigate sites we've seen.
It's very simple for a client to find what they want. Core Fitness
Studio has a very distinctive brand and they use it on the supplement
line, journals and if you look at some of the photos on
the site you'll see they carry "branded" apparel. Matt also
sends out an incredibly well-designed and informative e-newsletter.
Great marketing!

All About
You --
Patricia
Woody is one the best "motivators" I know. And
she's a natural with no formal "How to motivate" type training.
Nope, she's the real deal... just a ball of energy who's incredibly
excited to help her clients. And, the testimonials prove it.
Just check out the web site and you see
RESULTS.
Read the
testimonials. World Gym should be commended for having the
guts to run her programs without membership. Now, that's
confidence. How many people do you think convert to full
membership? I'll bet it's close to 100%. I know I'd join to
get this type of
motivation
and education.
Fitness Evolution -- Right out of the box, on
his home page, Brian Miller introduces himself and provides a video tour of his
studio. Dig a little deeper and you'll find a full description of
offerings as well as staff bios. This is important as consumers and referral prospects, more than ever, are scouring
the web for information before they retain a trainer.
N'Shape with N -- Nettie Reeves is
a non-stop, action
packed entrepreneur, who, among a gazillion other things,
even coordinates a "fitness cruise!" Plus, check out her
fitness challenge. The bottom line: Nettie does not hang her hat
on just one promotion. She coordinates several different marketing
activities simultaneously.
Get Fit 2 Wed -- Talk about "niche marketing!" Jessica
Thomas has identified an incredible niche market in San Diego. It's
not just the brides. She gets referrals to all the bridesmaids, parents, relatives, etc.,
who all want to "look good" at the wedding. Jessica says these
folks are highly motivated and typically stick with her long after the
wedding.
Body
by Banks -- Michael Banks is another true entrepreneur.
Here's a professional who has identified several interesting niches
within the fitness business. Just take a look around his site and
you'll see. In the past 3 months, we've shipped 500
Body Basic Kits to him -- and they're all gone! Be sure to
check out his
client testimonials... now that's marketing!
