WMU-101 Payment – Registration Scenarios

Some clubs, studios, hospitals and corporate accounts are providing WMU-101 as a complimentary amenity.

  • Most professionals, however, will be charging for this curriculum.  Some will be taking payment at a front desk, membership sales desk or personal training office with the new student/client right in front of them.
  • Others will be taking orders online or over the phone during a coaching session – in which case they will be using an online shopping cart.
  • Fitness seminars, workshops, boot camps and other off-site programs will be collecting checks / cash and entering participant information during “down-time.”

As such, our goal is to keep the payment / registration process as flexible as possible.   Below are 3 different payment scenarios that may describe your situation:

In-Person:

  • If the new student/client is in front of you at a sales desk, then you can simply go to your registration page via “private url”: (http://yourwebsite-wmu.com/sign-up-now) and enter the information manually.

In this scenario, you and your client/student can fill out the registration page together on-the-spot.  This might take place during a Personal Training Package transaction, a New Membership transaction or other bundled package.

* Best Practices:  For best security, most websites now use a person’s email address for: USER NAME (it’s also easy for the client to remember).  The WMU-101 website requires at least 6 characters for a PASSWORD.

MAP System:  If you are also using the MAP System, please consider using the exact same USER NAME and PASSWORD for both MAP and WMU-101.

Re-direct:  Once a person is REGISTERED, he or she will be automatically re-directed to the DASHBOARD page where they can immediately get started.  This is the same page where they will LOGIN from here on.

NOTE:  By design, both the WMU-101 Dashboard on the top navigation bar and Course Login button (top right) link to the DASHBOARD PAGE.

 Self-Registration by Student/Client:

After you receive payment for enrollment to your WMU-101 website, you can send to your new student a pre-written email with the “private link” to your REGISTRATION PAGE.

In this scenario, your new client/student is NOT at your location.  He or she might be an online coaching client, a bootcamp client, or perhaps a member who purchased a “value-added” membership, but did not have time to register at your location.

Self Registration with Shopping Cart:

If you are using a shopping cart to sell your various packages, you might be able to add your “private link” as part of the payment receipt that is emailed to your customer (depending on your shopping cart).  However, if the cart does not allow it, you can simply send the purchaser an email with the “private link” to your registration page — as shown above.
