I have a LOVE / HATE ❤️ 😡 relationship with a few things.

So, I attempt to take those lemons and turn them into something positive… like lemonade!

For example, I HATE 😡 the Body Mass Index (BMI) metric that’s used worldwide to determine a person’s so called “healthy weight.”

​

It’s so inaccurate… especially when it comes to athletes and fitness enthusiasts who are usually quite lean – but, BMI often gauges them as “OBESE!”

​

On the other hand, I LOVE ❤️ the BMI calculators when it comes to marketing.

​

It’s totally “interactive” and engages a consumer with their own personal metric (which is usually too high) and can motivate him or her to contact a fitness professional, studio or club.

Here’s Another Weird One…

By now, you may know how much I HATE 😡 the way GLP-1 injections/pills protocol is being marketed to people who don’t need it, whatsoever. It’s the new “magic pill.”

The pervasive marketing is flat out reckless and dangerous once you understand how the medication works.

​

But, on the other hand, the new GLP-1 protocol absolutely requires the patient to enter a lifestyle/fitness plan in order to offset the muscle wasting that occurs.

​

So, I LOVE ❤️ that the protocol is driving traffic into studios, clubs and other health and wellness facilities — with the hope that professionals will wean participants off the GLP-1 medication and into permanent healthy lifestyle behaviors.
